Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Short version
Your health logs, journal and recovery details never leave your device. We only keep the email address and first name you give at checkout, and your payment status, so we can confirm your purchase and send you a sign-in link. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and the pages load nothing from third parties (fonts are hosted on our own server).
Data controller
Manu Nova, trade name of Manuel Antoni, sole proprietor, 138 avenue Victor Hugo, 75116 Paris, France. Contact: hello@postpartum-recovery-compass.com.
What stays on your device
Your birth date and type, complications, daily and weekly logs, symptoms, journal entries and visit questions are stored only in your browser (LocalStorage) on your device. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser data deletes them; use the export feature to keep a copy.
What we process, why, and for how long
- Purchase: your email address, your first name, the Stripe payment reference, the date of payment and whether it was refunded. Purpose: deliver and restore your access, greet you by name, send your order confirmation, and handle refunds. Legal basis: performance of the contract. Kept while your access exists, then for the period required by French accounting law (10 years for sales records).
- Payment and invoice: processed by Stripe, which receives your card details, email and billing details, and issues your invoice. We never see your card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Emails: your order confirmation and, when you ask to restore access, your sign-in link are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which receives your email address. See Brevo's privacy policy.
- Server logs: our host records requests (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Deleted automatically after 14 days.
Where data is processed
Our server is hosted by Contabo GmbH in the European Union. Stripe may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We set no cookies. The App uses your browser's local storage only to work (your logs and your access), which does not require consent. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page to prevent fraud.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to hello@postpartum-recovery-compass.com. We will answer within one month. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or to the authority in your country.
Children
The App is intended for adults.
